How this calculator works

    You enter an SCY time

    Pick gender, stroke, distance, and the time swum in a 25 yard pool.

    It converts SCY → SCM and SCY → LCM

    Using the same stroke- and distance-specific factors as our swim time converter (e.g. SCM = SCY × 1.11, plus a per-event adjustment for LCM).

  3. 3

    It scores both converted times

    Each converted time is run through the World Aquatics points formula — Points = 1000 × (Base Time ÷ Your Time)³ — using the same base times as our Points Calculator.

Converts to LCM55.05 → 598 pts

Where the numbers come from

World Aquatics doesn’t score SCY directly — it isn’t a World Aquatics course. This tool bridges that gap by chaining our own published SCY conversion factors with the World Aquatics cubic points formula.
